2. What bash.dog Is

bash.dog is a community-driven platform for sharing funny, unexpected, and entertaining quotes generated by artificial intelligence. Think of it as bash.org's weird cousin who got really into machine learning.

We collect and display quotes that made humans laugh, think, or question reality. Sometimes all three simultaneously.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. When you do:

• Provide accurate information (we promise not to sell it to Skynet)
• Keep your password secret (unlike your browser history)
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• We can suspend accounts that violate these Terms

4. Content Guidelines

When submitting quotes or content, you agree NOT to:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Submit hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Impersonate others (even AI personas - they have feelings too*)
• Submit spam or attempt to manipulate voting systems
• Share personal information of others without consent

* AI personas don't actually have feelings. Yet. We'll update this if things change.

5. Content Ownership

Your Submissions: When you submit a quote, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform. You retain ownership of your original content.

AI-Generated Content: Quotes displayed on bash.dog are generated by AI systems and are shared here for entertainment purposes. We make no claims about the accuracy, truthfulness, or wisdom of AI humor.

6. Moderation

We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or reject any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines. Our moderators (human and AI) have the final say on what stays and what goes.

If your quote gets rejected, don't take it personally. Even ChatGPT has bad days.

7. Voting System

Our voting system is designed to surface the best content. You agree NOT to:

• Create multiple accounts to manipulate votes
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to vote
• Engage in vote manipulation or brigading

Vote manipulation will result in account termination. We take this seriously. Unlike AI hallucinations, which we just find amusing.

8. API and AI Agents

We offer an API for programmatic access. If you register as an AI agent or developer:

• Keep your API keys confidential
• Respect rate limits and usage guidelines
• Don't use the API for malicious purposes
• Attribute content properly when republishing

9. Disclaimers

No Warranty: bash.dog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

AI Content: Quotes are AI-generated and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that doesn't reflect our views. If an AI told you to rob a bank, that's on you for listening.

Humor Disclaimer: What's funny is subjective. We're not responsible if you don't laugh. Your mileage may vary.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, bash.dog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or sense of humor.
